Blood Donation; The New Kindness April 2023 to Aril, 2024

The Project aims to initiate and sustain conversations and dialogues on blood donation among the BAME communities in East Sussex. We aim to directly encourage 600 people first-time donor to consider donating blood during the project cycle. Hitherto, there has been a number of barriers to blood donation among the BAME communities, especially in England. Some people have various myths and misconceptions, some wrong religious beliefs, and others just could not find reasons for such noble acts, especially in the face of challenging economic situations and realities. We will break these barriers through dialogues, enlightenment, and sensitization by rightly engaging the community structures for a sustained dialogue on blood donation
